iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max are now official, and here are the details on the retail box and their contents inside.
iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Ship in Minimal Boxes with Just a USB-C Cable Like Last Year
While the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro will go on sale on the 19th of September, this means it will be a while until we get a glimpse of the retail box these smartphones will ship in.
Thankfully, Apple has uploaded a photo of the retail box right on its website for both iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro. You can check them out below:
As you can see, there’s nothing special happening here at all. But, the retail packaging of the iPhone Air is slightly different, as it shows the side profile of the iPhone rather than the rear.
When it comes to the contents of the boxes, you only get a USB-C cable like last time. Don’t expect Apple to backtrack from its decision and include a charging adapter. You will be paying for it separately, or just use the one you currently have.
I know this is a very controversial thing to say in the Apple community, but why even hold on to the box your iPhone comes in? Just throw it away the moment you unbox your iPhone. You will never see it again anyway, so why keep it around and let it occupy precious space?
