Apple has released macOS 15.7 Sequoia RC (Release Candidate) for developers, and you can download it on your Mac too.
macOS 15.7 RC Now Available for Download on the Mac if You’re a Developer – Addresses Important Security Issue
Given that the full and final version of macOS 15.6 Sequoia was released just last week, macOS 15.7 RC arriving a week later goes to show that this is a very important update.
If you’re enrolled as a developer with Apple, you too can download the update by simply going to System Settings > General > Software Update. Over here, click on Beta Updates, and select macOS Sequoia Developer Beta.

Once you do this, the new macOS 15.7 RC update will show right up for download via Software Update.

As you can see from the changelog, macOS 15.7 Sequoia addresses important security issues, hence its existence. Apart from that, there are no features in this new update at all.
Given how important this update is for Apple, and they went straight for the RC build rather than seeding any developer or public beta update, the update could arrive within a week for everyone.
It will be very interesting if Apple ends up releasing this update this week rather than the next one.
