A report says Apple’s WWDC 2025 event won’t be a jam-packed one like last year’s. The company will focus on stuff it can actually deliver.
Apple is Only Going to Announce Features at WWDC 2025 Which it Can Ship this Fall, Nothing More
WWDC 2024 was, simply put, an overload of information. Apple went overboard with announcements, especially when it came to its own AI.
Some features were delayed and released across a span of few months, while some never made the cut to this day.
I’m looking at you, Siri.
This year, while Apple is going to announce a major redesign to its operating systems, it will only talk about features that it can ship in the fall.
According to Bloomberg, Apple is not going to touch on features which are meant to be released sometime in the future. The company is only going to stick with stuff that can be shipped this fall.
Interestingly, this is something that has been reported before as well; Apple won’t announce stuff well in advance. And, I believe that’s a good thing.
The report by Bloomberg also says that Apple is going to focus less on AI this year and put more focus on design, which is exactly what people want to see.
