macOS 15.4.1 Sequoia Now Available for Download with Bug Fixes and Security Updates for the Mac
Alongside iOS 18.4.1 and iPadOS 18.4.1, Apple has also released macOS 15.4.1 Sequoia for the Mac. It does not bring any new feature to the Mac, but does fix bugs and improve security.
From Apple:
This update provides important bug fixes and security updates, and is recommended for all users.

In order to download the update right away, all you have to do is follow these steps:
- Launch System Settings.
- Click on General on the left.
- Now click on Software Update on the right.
- When macOS 15.4.1 shows up, click on Update Now next to it.

The update will begin downloading immediately and can be installed right after or overnight. It’s entirely up to you how you want to go about this.
I will suggest updating your Mac to the latest software immediately, especially if you want your Mac to function at its best every second.
If an update changelog specifically mentions security improvements, it means things are serious, and you should take note of it.
Looking for the macOS 15.4.1 Sequoia restore image for your Apple silicon Mac? You can download it from this link. You can restore this image to your Mac either using Finder or Apple Configurator.
Though it’s not needed, if you’re running into serious problems with your Mac, then a full restore using DFU mode might be the need of the hour.
