Here’s how you can find out how much space Apple Intelligence is using on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac in a few easy steps.

Find Out Exactly How much Storage Space Apple Intelligence is Using on Your iPhone, iPad or Mac in a Few Simple Steps

The moment you turn on Apple Intelligence on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you’re dedicating a small portion of your storage to it permanently.

Over time, that storage space will only start to grow as new features start to roll out.

Although it’s understood that Apple Intelligence occupies up to 7GB of space on a supported device, but if you want to see exactly how much it is using on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can actually find out easily.

Mac

Step 1. Launch System Settings.

Step 2. Click on General on the left.

Step 3. Click on Storage in the list of options on the right.

Step 4. Scroll all the way down and you should see an entry called ‘macOS’. Right next to it is an (i) button. Click on it.

Step 5. There’s the amount of space Apple Intelligence is using on your Mac.

iPhone and iPad

Step 1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2. Tap on General.

Step 3. Tap on iPhone/iPad Storage.

Step 4. Scroll all the way down and find ‘iOS.’ Tap on it to open.

Step 5. You’ll see the amount of storage Apple Intelligence is using right here.

You can try to redeem some of this storage by turning off Apple Intelligence. I say some, because it does not get you every single megabyte of storage space back.

But hey, if you’re really tight on space and not using AI at all, it’s best to just turn it off completely.
