New Apple TV 4K is Powered by the A19 Chip, Features Siri AI, Built-in Microphones, Improved Siri Remote, and More
While the real star of the show may be the HomeView, but the Apple TV 4K has been announced alongside it to take your living room experience even further.
Big Performance Upgrade
The Apple TV 4K has been great for a long time, but if yours is feeling slow, then you will be pleased to learn that the new one is powered by the A19 chip, delivering 50% faster CPU, and 2x faster GPU performance compared to the last model. That’s a huge leap forward, and yes, that is the same chip from the iPhone 17.
Built-in Microphones
The new Apple TV has built-in far-field microphones, allowing you to access Siri right from your couch. These mics cut through the noise around you to make sure it gets your words right, too.
Just talk to your Apple TV and find whatever you like. Using remotes is so 2025.
Siri AI Comes to the Big Screen
No idea what to watch next? Just say “ Hey Siri,” and ask your Apple TV directly. Since the intelligence features are handled using Siri AI, you can expect it to give you solid results and recommendations.
Improved Siri Remote
Do you have a knack for losing the Siri Remote all the time? Well, there’s a built-in speaker inside the remote, which means you can locate it easily using your iPhone. No need to dig around the couch, as that speaker will tell you exactly where the remote is.
The Ultimate Home Theater Experience
Many users pair their HomePod with the Apple TV for audio. This time, you can pair up to four HomePod mini 2 speakers with the Apple TV 4K, giving you the most immersive surround sound experience in the living room.
Wi-Fi 7 Comes to Apple TV
To ensure your video streams stay solid throughout the day (and night) the Apple TV ships with Wi-Fi 7 as standard. That’s not all: you get support for Bluetooth 6.0 and Thread networking as well.
There’s a gigabit Ethernet port at the back, if you want to hardwire your Apple TV straight to the internet.
A New Higher Price
The Apple TV 4K does not come cheap and Apple has priced it at $299. You can pre-order it today, and it will start to ship on the 13th of November.
