Apple has officially announced that the game No Man’s Sky is coming to iPhone and iPad later this month.

No Man’s Sky Coming to iPhone and iPad on October 28 with All Major Expansions and Updates to Date

In its “Indie Games Week” announcement, Apple made it official that No Man’s Sky, which has been available for the Mac since 2023, will be coming to the iPhone and iPad on the 28th of October.

From Apple:

The game includes every major content expansion to date, including the most recent Cosmos update, where players can command their own space stations. Set in an infinite, procedurally generated universe rendered entirely at runtime, No Man’s Sky lets players explore, trade, fight, and survive across an interconnected galaxy — all in the palm of their hands.

The initial release of No Man’s Sky won’t include multiplayer capabilities, but I’m assuming that’s definitely coming later, since that is something that makes this game so great.

This is the kind of game that deserves to be on iPad more than any other platform, and finally it’s coming.

If you’re interested, you can head over to the App Store here and track the game’s release.
