You can download and install public beta 3 of Apple’s macOS 27 Golden Gate desktop operating system for the Mac.
macOS 27 Golden Gate Public Beta 3 Now Available for Download with Handful of Performance Improvements and Other Fixes
Apple really took a while before releasing macOS 27 developer beta 5 this week. This means public beta testers have been waiting patiently in the background as well for the new update to arrive.
Thankfully, the wait is over, and those testing public beta 2 can download and install macOS 27 public beta 3 immediately by following these steps:
- Launch System Settings.
- Click on General, then click on Software Update.
- When public beta 3 becomes available for download, click on the Update Now button.
The overall installation may take a while so exercise a little bit of patience. It’s best to leave your Mac on its own and return back after half an hour or so until the installation is complete. Once it is, you can start using your Mac normally.
Alongside macOS 27 developer beta 5, Apple also released macOS 26.6.2 earlier this week with important bug fixes.
