A set of leaked iOS 26 features has been posted online, and these are some exciting changes coming to iPhone and iPad.

iOS 26 will Bring Handful of Changes to Messages, Music, Notes, and CarPlay

Apart from the big UI redesign, Apple is going to toss in a bunch of new features with iOS 26 too. Of course, Apple is not just going to announce a new skin for your iPhone and iPad and call it a day.

The company is set to go above and beyond with a bunch of useful new features.

9to5Mac is reporting that a bunch of new features are coming to iOS 26, with major changes coming to Messages, Music, Notes, and even CarPlay.

According to the report, the Messages app will include built-in live translation, thanks to the power of AI, and polls are also coming to conversations, ensuring democracy thrives and everyone reaches their favorite food place by a majority vote.

I actually find the live translation thing useful. You can carry on with your conversation without any language barrier at all. Just type away, and the other person will see your text in their language, and you in theirs.

The Music app is taking a leap forward with full-screen animated Lock Screen artwork. It’s a great way to show off what you’re listening to in the most animated way possible.

Users will be able to export notes in Markdown from the Notes app. I’m not sure how this is going to be useful, but if you always wanted this, then it’s a huge win.

Last but not least, CarPlay is also getting a UI upgrade to match the aesthetics of iOS 26. I’m only going to assume it will use more transparency effects and glass contours.

A previous report said Apple is bringing a dedicated gaming app to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac as well. This is like the App Store and Game Center combined into one.

We are just a few days away from WWDC 2025, where everything will be official. I’m sure there are going to be more leaks leading up to the big day.
