Sound Glow is Coming to HomePod mini 1 and HomePod 2 too

With HomePod Software 27.2, the Sound Glow feature is coming to the HomePod 2 and the HomePod mini 1, both.

Apple’s New Sound Glow Feature in HomePod mini 2 is Coming to the HomePod 2 and HomePod mini 1 with Software Update 27.2

HomePod mini 2 does a bunch of cool things, with Sound Glow being one of them. When you play your favorite music track, the top of the HomePod will glow and pulsate to the audio being played.

Interestingly, with the HomePod Software 27.2 now available as RC, that feature will become available for second-generation HomePod, as well as first-generation HomePod mini.

That’s one less reason to buy the new HomePod mini.
