Just a while ago, Apple announced a special event called ‘Welcome home.’ all set for the 13th of October.
Apple’s ‘Welcome Home’ Event All Set for 13th of October, Likely to Announce New Smart Hub, HomePod mini, and Apple TV 4K
Greg Joswiak shared a post on social media highlighting the new event on October 13, which is accompanied by a fun little video in which the Apple logo is being knit in rainbow colors.
Given the ‘Welcome home’ tagline, it makes perfect sense what Apple is going to announce that day. The first one is a new HomePod mini, second is a new Apple TV 4K, while the third is a smart home hub with a built-in display, all powered by Siri AI.
All of these products have been rumored for launch on the 13th of October. Now that the event invites are out, we no longer have to speculate and just wait for the big day next week in which Apple will reveal everything.
These new products, especially the smart home hub, have been held back for a long time because Siri AI wasn’t ready. Now that the AI-powered assistant is out in the wild on different devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro, it makes sense that it arrives in our living room in some shape or form.
The smart hub is going to be the perfect device for Siri AI, since it will always be available to users in the living room. But it all boils down to how Apple markets it; only then will it prove to be truly useful.
As someone who has a couple of Apple TVs and HomePods that are in dire need of an upgrade, this event has truly gotten me excited. Let’s sit back, relax, and see what Apple has in store for us.
