Developer Beta 2 of iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, macOS 26.5 Tahoe, and More Now Available for Download
It’s Monday, which means Apple has released a brand-new set of beta updates of its upcoming software. If you’ve been testing out the developer betas of iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5, or even macOS 26.5 and more, then you can upgrade to beta 2.
If you don’t know already, the new 26.5 updates do not bring the new Siri to Apple devices. It’s likely that we can expect it to be a part of iOS 27 and other updates, all set for release later this year.
Anyway, if you’ve been testing out the betas, all you have to do is go to Settings > General > Software Update on your device in order to download the second beta. The steps are (almost) identical on all Apple devices.
And yes, the 26.5 software update is also available for public beta testers. You can sign up for it by going to beta.apple.com using a web browser, and then enable the beta update on your device in a few steps. You’ll find more details on it here.
If there’s anything noteworthy in the new 26.5 beta 2 update, I will highlight it. But so far, it appears as though Apple is focusing on fixing bugs and improving the overall performance of its devices with this update.
