A new video posted on YouTube shows how a water-cooled MacBook Neo offers double the graphics performance.

Regular MacBook Neo? Water-Cooled MacBook Neo – Double the Performance with a Small Hack

The MacBook Neo is not a gaming laptop, although it can handle high-end games comfortably. The issue is, when the A18 Pro chip starts to flex its muscles, it heats up, and graphics performance drops, which is very noticeable in games of all places.

If you see a sudden drop in frame-rate when you’re gaming, it’s due to poor thermals, nothing else.

However, ETA Prime on YouTube did some legwork and added water-cooling to the MacBook Neo. The results? Better sustained performance, and nearly double the frame-rates.

I really want you to watch this video, because it’s the geekiest thing you’ll see today:

All you need is a water-cooling mechanism to get those frame-rates back up. How difficult can it be, right?
