The new Gemini-powered Siri, coming with iOS 27, will be able to process multiple requests at once, something Siri can’t do currently.

Apple’s New AI-Powered Siri in iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 will be Able to Understand and Execute Multiple Requests at Once

Apple’s new and advanced Siri, powered by Gemini, is not here yet. And with every passing minute, it’s becoming clear that Apple will release it with iOS 27 and other software updates later this year instead.

However, more details regarding the new Siri have emerged, thanks to Bloomberg.

Apart from being able to give better answers to questions you may have, a big feature of the new Siri is the ability to process multiple requests at the same time. Not only that, but complex requests with the ability to understand personal context, something which Apple has talked about officially when it first announced the new Apple Intelligence-powered Siri.

In its current form, Siri can only process one request at a time. The new Siri will listen to your paragraph-long request and act on all of it, as long as it doesn’t fall outside its capabilities. Which means you can say something like ‘Hey Siri, set an alarm for 7 p.m., turn off the living room lights, and send a text message to Craig that he needs to follow up on the email.’

To be honest, the above request is very, very simple. But, it only exists as an example of one of the things you will be able to do.

I’m sure a lot of people will not care about this feature, but for me, it’s going to be a game-changer because I do use Siri a lot, and I set alarms, reminders, and send away text messages together all the time. If it allows me to execute multiple requests at the same time, I can use the time saved to write my next rant.

We can expect the new Siri to be showcased at WWDC26, which is all set for June. And right after the keynote, you will be able to download the first developer beta of Apple’s next-generation software, which includes iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and of course, visionOS 27.

Before you head out, make sure you download the WWDC26 wallpapers for your iPhone from here.
