Apple Releases macOS 26.3.2 Software Update for MacBook Neo Ahead of Launch
Apple released macOS 26.3.1 just a while ago with support for the newly announced Studio Display. With MacBook Neo also set to hit shelves tomorrow, Apple has released a new software update for it – macOS 26.3.2.
In terms of features, there’s nothing new here at all. Apple says this update features bug fixes and security patches only. Basically, Apple wants to make sure that its new notebook offers the best in stability and security before people start using it.
According to Apple, the new macOS 26.3.2 software update has the following build number: 25D2140
And yes, in case you’re looking for it, you can download the macOS 26.3.2 Tahoe firmware file for your Apple silicon Mac from here. You can use this firmware file to clean restore your MacBook Neo from scratch.
But do keep in mind that you do need a second Mac in order to do this, and some technical knowledge in how to put your MacBook Neo into DFU mode. It’s the kind of stuff that may end up ruining your Mac if you don’t know what you’re doing, so it’s best you stay away from it until you absolutely reach that point where a clean restore is necessary.
