Apple is set to announce a bunch of new products next week, and a new iPad Air and standard iPad model are set for refresh too.
Apple to Announce New iPad and iPad Air Refresh Next Week, Don’t Buy Anything Over the Weekend
Tim Cook teased a product announcement for Monday, and it’s likely that it will announce something new on Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
On Monday, Apple is likely going to announce the A18 Pro-powered MacBook. On Tuesday or Wednesday, Apple will probably announce a refreshed iPad Air with M4 chip and iPad with A18.
In other words, if you’ve been planning to buy a new iPad over the weekend, I will recommend not buying anything at all until Apple is done with its announcements.
If you’re planning to get the M5 iPad Pro, then by all means, knock yourself out. Get that cellular model with nano-texture display and almost twice the RAM, because the iPad Pro is not getting a refresh any time soon.
Just hold back from buying anything until Thursday at least, then make your decision about which iPad you want to get.
