Juno was a great third-party YouTube app for Vision Pro, but sadly, it was removed, thanks to Google. But, it has been replaced today with the official app.
The official YouTube app arrives on Vision Pro, and you can download it straight from the App Store, absolutely free. And, it’s not any bogged down version of the app either, it has a ton of cool features which were worth the wait.
Those features include the ability to watch 360-degree and 180-degree videos. You also get the ability to watch content in 8K resolution, but you do need the M5 Vision Pro for that.
More importantly, you can watch YouTube Shorts on the official app as well, perfect for times when you just want to unwind, and waste those precious minutes watching AI slop created by faceless channels.
I really don’t have to dive deep into the app at all because it’s a full-featured client which you know from the iPhone and iPad. Give it a download on your Vision Pro, and enjoy everything on the big screen, or in the visionOS environment of your choice.
