Apple is expected to announce the new iPad 12 sometime in March, and a new report talks about what we can expect.
iPad 12 Launching in March with the Powerful A18 Chip, 8GB of RAM, Same Design as iPad 11
Right now, the iPad 11 is the best deal in tech, and it is almost due for an upgrade. According to Macotakara, there are a few great things coming to the next version of Apple’s entry-level iPad.
First of all, the iPad 12 will feature the super-fast A18 chip, the same one found in the iPhone 17. This will instantly give the tablet a big boost in performance, especially when you compare it to the A16 chip found in the current model.
Right now, the iPad mini 7 features the fast A17 Pro chip, and a jump to A18 will definitely do wonders for Apple’s cheapest iPad. And hopefully, with this upgrade, entry-level users will get access to apps included in the Creator Studio bundle.
Along with the A18 chip, the new iPad will ship with 8GB of RAM. This means the iPad 12 will include Apple Intelligence support, giving users access to features like Writing Tools, Image Playground, and more importantly, the advanced version of Siri.
When it comes to design, the new iPad 12 will look just like the iPad 11, and that’s a good thing. Because if you have invested in a lot of accessories for a tablet, you can keep on using them with the new iPad.
The iPad is, without a doubt, a very versatile device that can do a lot of things that a smartphone and laptop can. An upgrade like the one mentioned above boosts the overall value of the product, and that’s something consumers should always ask for.
