Apple has just released the first beta of iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 for iPhone and iPad, and you can download them right now.

Apple Releases First Developer Beta of iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4, Download Today

iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 have been on the cards for quite some time now. With iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 now available for download, it was a matter of time before Apple seeded the next round of betas.

Today, iOS 26.4 and iPadOS 26.4 are available to download for developers, and if you’re signed up to Apple’s Developer Program, then installing the new update is a piece of cake.

All you have to do is make sure your iPhone and iPad are set to receive developer beta updates. You can double-check this by going to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates. Make sure iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 Developer Beta are selected.

Now, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Wait for the page to refresh, and the new 26.4 update will pop right up. Tap on Update Now in order to begin the download.

In case you’re wondering, the new beta comes with the following build number for both iPhone and iPad devices: 23E5207q

It’s too early to tell what the new update brings to the table. It’s believed that the new Siri may or may not be part of the 26.4 update, and Apple might roll it out with version 26.5 or beyond. Once I’ve gone through the update myself, I’ll let you know what you can expect here.

If you hear complete silence from my end, then it’s safe to assume that this new version of iOS and iPadOS doesn’t do much for iPhone and iPad users at all.
