Apple has released RC versions of iOS 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, macOS 26.3, watchOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and visionOS 26.3 for download.
You Can Now Download and Install RC Builds of iOS 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, macOS 26.3 Tahoe, watchOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and visionOS 26.3
Now that the RC (Release Candidate) versions of Apple’s beta software are out, this means the full and final release is just a week away. Whether you’ve been testing out the developer beta, or the public beta, go right ahead and download the RC builds of iOS 26.3, iPadOS 26.3, macOS 26.3, watchOS 26.3, tvOS 26.3, and visionOS 26.3 today.
Before you go further, I want you to know that anyone can download and install the RC builds on their device. All you have to do is sign up for Apple’s Beta Software Program, which is the channel through which it releases public beta updates.
In order to sign up for it, just log in to beta.apple.com using your Apple Account. The same Apple Account you’re using on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Vision Pro.
Download and Install iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 RC
Step 1. Sign up to Apple’s Beta Software Program by going to: beta.apple.com.
Step 2. Launch Settings, then go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates. Enable iOS 26/iPadOS 26 Public Beta from here.
Step 3. Now go to Settings > General > Software Update. You’ll see iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 RC available for download. Tap on Update Now.
Apple says the new iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 RC has the following build number: 23D125
Download and Install macOS 26.3 Tahoe RC
Step 1. Make sure you sign up to the Apple’s public beta program by going to: beta.apple.com
Step 2. Enable public beta updates on your Mac by going to System Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates. Select macOS Tahoe 26 Public Beta from the drop-down menu, and then click on Done.
Step 3. Wait for Software Update to refresh, and you’ll see macOS 26.3 RC available for download in a few seconds. Click on Update Now to begin download.
According to Apple, macOS 26.3 RC has the following build number: 25D122
Download and Install watchOS 26.3 RC
Step 1. Sign up for the public beta by going to: beta.apple.com
Step 2. Enable public beta updates on your Apple Watch by going to Watch > General > Software Update > Beta Updates on your iPhone. Select watchOS 26 Public Beta.
Step 3. Under Software Update, you’ll see watchOS 26.3 RC after a few seconds. Tap on the Download and Install button underneath to begin the download.
According to Apple, the watchOS 26.3 RC update has the following build number: 23S618
Download and Install tvOS 26.3 RC
Step 1. Sign up for the public beta by going to the following link using a web browser: beta.apple.com
Step 2. Turn on your Apple TV and go to Settings > System > Software Updates > Get Beta Updates. Select tvOS 26 Public Beta from here.
Step 3. Simply go to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software, and download the available tvOS 26.3 RC system update.
tvOS 26.3 RC has the following build number: 23K619
Download and Install visionOS 26.3 RC
Since there is no public beta update available for visionOS 26.3, I’m going to assume you already have the developer beta installed. Follow these steps in order to download visionOS 26.3 RC:
Step 1. Launch the Settings app on your Vision Pro.
Step 2. Go to General > Software Updates.
Step 3. Select Update Now when you see the visionOS 26.3 RC update.
