Google has confirmed that v150 of Chrome will be the last it will release for macOS Monterey, after which no updates will be released.

macOS Monterey Losing Support for Google Chrome with Version 150 of the Web Browser

Chrome losing support for older Mac software is nothing new. For example, only recently Google announced that it is dropping support for Chrome on macOS Big Sur.

Today, Google has made it official that version 150 of Chrome will be the last supported version for macOS Monterey users. New updates will not be released and users will see a warning about it as well.

Once version 150 is out, further new updates will be pushed for macOS 12 users and beyond only.

Version 150 of Chrome should become available for download sometime in the middle of 2026, which gives you plenty of time to decide what you want to do with this information.

You can either fall back to Safari, or maybe think about upgrading your Mac to something more recent, which sounds like a much better idea.
