A bunch of devices have gained vintage status, according to Apple. This includes the iPhone 11 Pro and the last Intel MacBook Air.

Apple Adds iPhone 11 Pro, Intel MacBook Air, and Apple Watch Series 5 to the Vintage List of Devices

The iPhone 11 Pro was my favorite iPhone for two reasons – it was the first iPhone with three cameras, and it came in a gorgeous Alpine Green finish, which I love to this day.

But now, the beloved iPhone model is considered vintage by Apple. What this means is, it’s been over five years since Apple stopped selling the device officially.

If you still own the iPhone 11 Pro and want to get it repaired or maybe change its battery, Apple will only entertain your request as long as parts are available for it. This is not an issue with devices that aren’t vintage yet.

Do keep in mind that the iPhone 11 Pro Max has been on the vintage list since September of 2025.

Apart from the iPhone 11 Pro, Apple has added the last Intel MacBook Air to the vintage list as well. While it’s still a great notebook, it was around for a very short period of time in the market – around 8 months. Then Apple silicon happened, and the rest is history.

Last but not least, all the Apple Watch Series 5 models are now vintage as well, including the expensive ceramic model.

If you want to go back in time and see all the devices that are in the vintage list, head over to this link.
