You can now download and install iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 public beta 1 on your iPhone and iPad along with other updates.

Public Beta 1 of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 Now Available for Download on iPhone and iPad with Same Changes as Developer Beta

Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 on Monday. If you don’t want to sign up to the Apple Developer Program and wish to take the software for a spin as a public beta tester instead, you will be pleased to learn that you can do that.

Sign up to the beta.apple.com website using your Apple account, then launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates. From here, enable either iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 Public Beta. Once done, you’ll see the new software update available under the Software Update section.

In case you’re wondering, the new update has the same changes as the developer beta, and I’ve highlighted the two most important ones here. Basically, the new update makes switching to Android a breeze, and adds support for notification forwarding for third party devices connected to an iPhone.

Apart from iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3, Apple has also released the public beta of macOS 26.3, watchOS 26.3, and tvOS 26.3.
