Apple has released iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 RC for iPhone and iPad with build number 23C52, and anyone can download it right now.
iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 Release Candidate (RC) Update Now Available for Download with New Features and Changes
The beta journey has finally come to an end, which means beta software testers can now download and install iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 RC updates on iPhone and iPad.
If you already have the beta update installed on your iPhone and iPad, the new RC update will show like any other update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Once here, tap on Update Now.
But, anyone can download the RC update on their iPhone and iPad, like I said.
In order to do that, just sign up to the public beta program. You can do that by going to the beta.apple.com website. Once here, sign in using the Apple Account, the same one you’re currently using on your iPhone and iPad.
Once that is done, now go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates. Select iOS 26 Public Beta, and then go back to Software Update in order to download iOS 26.2 or iPadOS 26.2 release candidate (RC).
Release candidate updates are basically the same as the final version, but meant for beta testers only. This means this update will become available for download to everyone next week.
