The lists shared by Apple include free and paid apps, then there’s another one that covers free and paid games, for both iPhone and iPad.
While there are a ton of great titles in the lists, I’m only going to give you a glimpse of the top 5 from each.

The thing that bothers me about these lists is how they’re always dominated by the same names from each and every single year before. It’s almost like no one wants to compete with well-established names in the app ecosystem.
Even if someone does try to do something, the new entrant is usually a ripoff of an existing idea. Don’t even get me started on how many Twitter clones there are out there already.
