It doesn’t come as a surprise that iOS 26.2 beta 2 features some noticeable changes. Apple throws in a new change or two with pretty much every beta update, and that’s a good thing.
While there are a bunch of changes in iOS 26.2 beta 2, I am going to highlight the ones everyone will care about the most.
Measure App Gets Liquid Glass
The Measure app no longer features that boring old design and finally gets the Liquid Glass upgrade. It is slightly overwhelming but it finally looks on par with the rest of the operating system.
Disable Pinned Conversation in CarPlay
If you use CarPlay, and happen to use the Messages app while driving, you should be pleased to learn that you can now disable pinned conversations.
Improved Navigation in Games App
Use the Games app? The sorting and filtering section gets a big improvement, allowing you to sort your library by name, size, and more.
Improved Liquid Glass Animations
Apple has started to polish Liquid Glass animations in a lot of places. If you tap on ‘menu’ buttons, you’ll notice how smoother the animations are compared to iOS 26.1.
