Apple has launched a revamped version of the App Store on the web that’s more similar to the one on devices like iPhone and Mac.

Apple Launches a Revamped Version of the App Store on the Web with Familiar Features and Excellent Search

The old version of the App Store on the web shouldn’t even be called the ‘App Store.’ The new one looks like the one we all know and love from our Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro, and Apple TV.

The new interface has a Today page, giving you insights of the latest from the App Store, and highlights of what’s hot and worthy of checking out. Basically, it’s a great way to explore everything that’s worthy in the App Store without fiddling around with search too much.

Speaking of which, there’s now a proper search bar, allowing you to browse the catalog of apps which Apple is hosting on its servers.

You can also check out every bit of information about an app or game from your web browser, including screenshots, preview videos, upcoming events, and more.

On the top left, you can even select which App Store you want to explore by narrowing things down to iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision, Watch, and TV. This is a great way to focus on specific apps for a certain platform only.

The new interface can be accessed right now by simply going to this link: apps.apple.com

It makes perfect sense why the App Store is available on the web, as it allows non-Apple users to explore what’s available on devices like iPhone, iPad, Mac, and more.

It just surprises me why this wasn’t available a long time ago, especially since the Today page has been live for such a long time.
