Apple has just released beta 2 of iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 for iPhone and iPad, download it now with new changes and improvements.

Those testing out the first developer beta of iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 can download beta 2 over the air. The steps are exactly the same as before, and it only takes a few minutes to get up to speed.
All you have to do is launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, then go to General > Software Update. Let this page update, and you’ll see iOS 26.2 or iPadOS 26.2 beta 2. Tap on the Update Now button underneath.
Apple says the new beta has the following build number: 23C5033h
At the time of writing, only the developer beta is available for download. Those testing out the public beta can expect the new update to arrive later today or tomorrow.
The first beta of iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 came with an interesting set of changes, including the ability to tone down Liquid Glass on the Lock Screen for better readability.
Today’s update likely includes new changes for iPhone and iPad users. If there are any that are worth talking about, I’ll do an entirely new blog post on it.
