macOS 26.1 Tahoe Public Beta 2 Now Available for Download with Bug Fixes and Other Minor Changes

It’s no secret that Apple releases developer betas first and then public beta updates. Yesterday, macOS 26.1 developer beta 2 was released, and today, public beta 2 version of the update has arrived.

In case you’re wondering, both updates are exactly the same, so do not expect any differences between them.

In order to download macOS 26.1 Tahoe public beta 2 right now, all you have to do is go to System Settings > General > Software Update. Click on Update Now as soon as you see the new update.

In terms of feature additions, you won’t find any in this update. But Apple is working to bring more language support to Apple Intelligence, which is nice.

Anyone can sign up for the public beta and take it for a spin. You’ll find all the details posted here.
