Apple Releases macOS 26.1 Tahoe Developer Beta 3 for the Mac, Download it Today

Apple is taking things further in the macOS 26.1 train with the release of developer beta 3 for the Mac. If you already have developer beta 2 installed, then you should download the new update immediately.

Launch System Settings on your Mac, then go to General, then Software Update. Give it a while, and you’ll see the update in a few seconds. When it shows up, click on Update Now.

According to Apple, the new macOS 26.1 developer beta 3 has the following build number: 25B5062e

The most noticeable change in this update is the new Apple TV app logo which is in line with the company’s rebranding of the service.

Do keep in mind that this update is available for developers only, and not public beta testers. Apple will likely release public beta 3 later today, or tomorrow. But, if you’re considering to take the update for a spin, you can sign up for the public beta here.
