The iPhone 17 lineup is set to get a little expensive, with the iPhone 17 Pro reportedly starting at $1,199 but with 256GB of storage.

Market Research Firm Says Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro will Start at $1,199 While the iPhone 17 Air Will Start at $1,099

I’ve seen several reports from time to time regarding the iPhone 17 price. Usually, I ignore these things until the last minute, because that’s when things start to get a little clear.

According to TrendForce, the iPhone 17 lineup will likely see a price hike, something which we have already heard about before. But the standard iPhone 17 price will remain unchanged compared to the iPhone 16 and will still start at $799.

When it comes to the iPhone 17 Pro, the lineup will start from $1,199 and Apple is going to ship the base model with 256GB of storage.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max will be priced at $1,299, and that too will ship with 256GB of storage, no bump to 512GB or anything here, unless you’re willing to pay a little extra.

The report talks about pricing of all models and I’m going to break it down for you in a simple list:

  • iPhone 17 – 128GB, $799
  • iPhone 17 – 256GB, $899
  • iPhone 17 – 512GB, $1,099
  • iPhone 17 Air – 256GB, $1,099
  • iPhone 17 Air – 512GB, $1,299
  • iPhone 17 Air – 1TB, $1,499
  • iPhone 17 Pro – 256GB, $1,199
  • iPhone 17 Pro – 512GB, $1,399
  • iPhone 17 Pro – 1TB, $1,599
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max – 256GB, $1,299
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max – 512GB, $1,499
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max – 1TB, $1,699

Basically, the lineup is going to start at $799 and will go all the way up to $1,699.

In the list, the pricing of the iPhone 17 Air is very interesting. It’s clear that the iPhone 17 Air is going to cost a premium if you want to experience that ultra-thin design and mediocre battery life.

But, I will suggest taking these prices with a grain of salt. This information is not from Apple and is strictly based on market research. We only have a few more days to go until the iPhone 17 ‘Awe Dropping’ event, and everything will be clear as day.
