Apple’s very-own Invites app for iPhone was just updated and has received the Liquid Glass redesign across the board.

Apple Invites App Gets Liquid Glass Redesign and a Couple of Handy New Features

The Apple Invites app was released back in February with a bunch of handy features, though a lot of stuff was missing, such as a widget, which was later added in a software update.

Today, the app has received a new update, and it features the Liquid Glass redesign, starting from the app icon on the Home Screen going all the way to the deepest streets of the app.

It’s not just a button or two that has the Liquid Glass look. Apple has carefully updated the app with the redesign, making it look and feel right at home with iOS 26.

Apart from that, the app now features Calendar sync support, ensuring that your invites are tracked in your calendar across your devices. A handy little addition, definitely.

Another important change is how the app now allows you to play video from Shared Albums right within the Invites app. You don’t have to leave the app just to play a small video clip. It’s innovation at its finest.

The two things the app didn’t get in this update are full support for iPad, and it remains exclusive to users who are paying for the iCloud+ subscription.

I’m not bothered by the second one, but the app needs to be on iPad this instant given how amazing it would look on the big screen.
