According to leaked information shared online, Apple is working on iOS 26.0.1 and iPadOS 26.0.1 updates with build number 23A355.
Leaked Information Confirms Existence of iOS 26.0.1 with Build Number 23A355 for iPhone and iPad
iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 are packed with loads of new features and even some bugs. In fact, those bugs are affecting the new iPhones as well, with users reporting that they are unable to use Apple Intelligence.
While Apple did say that it is working on a bug-fix update for iPhone, a private account on X has shared information about the upcoming update and says it will carry the build number 23A355.
The update – iOS 26.0.1 – will likely be released for both iPhone and iPad devices, and will hopefully address a bunch of inconveniences users have been experiencing since the past couple of weeks.
I’m sure the fix for Apple Intelligence on iPhone 17 devices is at the top of Apple’s list; however, there are a ton of other annoying bugs that need fixing too. I really wish Apple would get them with this update as well.
My iPhone 15 Pro Max suddenly starts having touch-screen issues and dropped frames, and it happens absolutely randomly. The only fix is to perform a hard restart, and things go back to normal. Obviously, that’s not normal behavior on iOS at all.
On iPadOS 26, I don’t see that many issues at all. In fact, it’s way more stable compared to iOS 26 at least.
Given how important this update is, I will be more surprised if Apple doesn’t release this update soon. But I have this feeling that this update may arrive either today or some time later this week.
