Apple’s latest AirPods Pro 3 earbuds are now official, and you’ll find all the features, price, and release date details here.
AirPods Pro 3 Announced with Tweaked Design, Improved Audio, Heart-Rate Sensor, More
AirPods Pro 3 offer far better bass response and emphasize on vocal performance a lot. And, active noise cancellation has been improved as well, with up to four times improvement versus the second-generation model, thanks to new drivers, software wizardry and foam-infused ear tips.
AirPods Pro 3 includes live translation, which allows you to translate from one language to the other on the fly. If two people are wearing AirPods Pro, both will hear each other’s voice being translated instantly; else, you have to whip out your iPhone to talk back.
Design-wise, Apple says the earbuds are slightly smaller, so that they fit better, and have been contoured to fit any type of ear easily. And with IP57 rating included, you can wear these in the gym or in the rain, if you dare to.
And yes, there’s a heart-rate sensor in the AirPods as well. If you wear these to the gym, or on your next run, it will actively track your work and save your data to the Health app and sync it across devices.
You can track up to 50 different types of workouts using AirPods Pro. Apple also says you can listen to music and track heart rate at the same time.
Battery life is seeing a big improvement, with up to 8 hours on a single charge, up from 6 hours. And up to 10 hours with Transparency Mode.
Price
Do you think Apple has bumped up the price? Nope. It’s still $249.
