Apple’s AirPods Pro 3, likely to be announced this month, may launch without the Live Translation feature.
AirPods Pro 3 will Feature Live Translation, But it May Not be Available at Launch
According to information shared by 9to5Mac, the AirPods Pro 3 will feature two important health sensors: heart rate and temperature.
However, apart from that, the AirPods Pro 3 will also feature Live Translation, a feature that may not arrive at launch. The report says Apple will release this feature later with a software update.
Interestingly, Apple hasn’t announced any iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26 feature that will not be available immediately. Apple chose not to talk about it at all.
Given the amount of backlash Apple faced when it released the iPhone 16 lineup without Apple Intelligence, I’m sure the company doesn’t want to repeat the same thing again, but this time with AirPods.
But, I have this feeling that Apple may talk about this feature when announcing the new AirPods Pro. After all, it is a very important feature.
The AirPods Pro 3 is also expected to feature a slightly smaller charging case. Hopefully, the smaller case will deliver the same battery life as the current model.
