Apple has released iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta 8 for iPhone and iPad, and you should go ahead and download it right now.

With new iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta updates coming out on a weekly basis, Apple is rapidly adding final touches to its software before releasing it to everyone next month.
Today, developer beta 8 of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 is available for download, and it is packed with more bug fixes and performance improvements.
If you’ve been testing out beta 7, follow these steps in order to download beta 8:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Tap on General.
- Now open Software Update.
- When you see beta 8, tap on Update Now.
The new beta carries the following build number: 23A5330a
If you want to test out iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 beta as well, you can either download the developer beta or public beta.
Though unlikely, if there is something new in this update, I will highlight it in a separate post.
