Have you ever seen macOS 26 Tahoe running on the iMac G4? Once you see it, along with the Liquid Glass goodness, you won’t like anything else.

iMac G4 with M1 at its Heart Shown Running macOS 26 Tahoe and Liquid Glass – Looks Absolutely Stunning

The iMac G4 is probably the most elegant-looking computer Apple has ever made – don’t argue with me on that at all.

Sure, the new desktop Macs might have a good look and feel to them, but if you ask me, I will keep on choosing the iMac G4 over anything else time and time again, thanks to its elegant design.

Colby Sheets owns one too, and he has the most unique iMac G4 there is. That’s because his computer has the M1 chip at its heart, all hidden away from the world, pretending it’s not even there.

It’s the most beautiful contraption you’ll ever see.

Keeping that in mind, Colby installed a copy of macOS 26 Tahoe beta on it, and it looks so good, almost like it was meant to run on the iMac G4, nothing else.

Check out the posts below and see Liquid Glass in action:

The beautiful Liquid Glass design, along with the clear bezels of the iMac G4, feels right at home. This computer waited more than 20 years to find the right operating system for it, and it’s here.

I know Apple will never resurrect the iMac G4 just because a few people like it, but it’s crazy how some things have a very deep correlation among them, even if they’re decades apart.
