iOS 26 developer beta 7 introduces a couple of important changes to iPhone. Here’s everything new in the update.

Here’s Everything New in iOS 26 Developer Beta 7 for the iPhone – Includes Blood Oxygen and Adaptive Power Notifications

Apple will keep on making changes to iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 until the final version is out. In fact, the process of improving software is a never-ending one, and it only gets exciting with time.

With iOS 26 developer beta 7, we are seeing a couple of important changes on iPhone. And I’m going to dive into the most important one first.

Apple Enables New Blood Oxygen Feature

Remember the new Blood Oxygen feature that was rolled out with iOS 18.6.1 and watchOS 11.6.1? That is now available with iOS 26 beta 7 and watchOS 26 beta 7.

If you have an Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Series 10, or the Apple Watch Ultra 2, you can now use the feature in the United States.

Adaptive Power Notifications

Apple introduced a feature called Adaptive Power with iOS 26, which is designed to extend the battery life of iPhone by making some performance adjustments.

With developer beta 7, you get a new toggle switch that disables notifications whenever Adaptive Power is being used. And yes, push notifications actually use up a lot of energy; it’s not a myth.

You’ll find the new toggle switch in Settings > Battery > Power Mode. Here you’ll see the new Adaptive Power Notifications toggle switch.
