Apple TV users, you can now download and install tvOS 26 public beta 2 on your device right now. Here’s how you do it.
Apple Releases tvOS 26 Public Beta 2 with Same Changes as Developer Beta 5, Available Now for Download
The one thing Apple didn’t have to do was bring Liquid Glass to Apple TV, but they did it anyway because it’s Apple, not anyone else.
If you’ve been testing out tvOS 26 public beta and all of its Liquid Glass goodness, then you will be pleased to learn that the second public beta is now available for download.
Do keep in mind that this update features the same changes as the fifth developer beta of tvOS 26.
In order to download and install tvOS 26 public beta 2 right now, this is what you have to do:
Step 1. Launch the Settings app from your tvOS 26 Home Screen.
Step 2. Scroll all the way down and open System.
Step 3. Open Software Update and then open Update Software.
Install tvOS 26 public beta 2 as soon as it becomes available for you. It won’t take that long to install either, and that’s what makes tvOS so great.
Though tvOS 26 doesn’t bring much to the table in terms of features, these are the kind of updates that end up surprising everyone the most. We’ll know for sure next month what special features Apple was holding back from users.
