OpenAI really changed the game with the announcement of its latest GPT-5 model for ChatGPT, the same ChatGPT which is also a part of Apple Intelligence on our Apple devices.

According to Apple in a statement given to 9to5Mac, the new model will be coming to iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26. What this means is, we can enjoy the ChatGPT integration, powered by GPT-5, on our iPhone, iPad, and Mac, next month.
Currently, ChatGPT replies on Apple devices are really slow. With GPT-5, that will hopefully change for the better, and users will be able to get answers for their queries at far better speed later this year.
It really doesn’t matter if you have a device that supports Apple Intelligence or not. You can always use the official ChatGPT app or the web interface to get answers whenever you like.
