With FineWoven out of the picture, Apple is set to replace it with TechWoven, a new lineup of cases for the iPhone 17.
Apple Launching New Lineup of TechWoven Cases for the iPhone 17 Lineup, According to Latest Leak
FineWoven was not that well-received, primarily due to its low durability compared to leather it was directly replacing.
Another reason why FineWoven was introduced was Apple’s goal to be more sustainable and cut down its carbon footprint.
Apple was definitely going to bring back the ‘idea’ in one form or the other, and according to information shared by Majin Bu, the replacement is TechWoven.

First of all, TechWoven is said to be far more durable than FineWoven and hopefully won’t suffer the same fate as the latter when it comes to day-to-day use.
The interesting thing about these cases is the tiny cutouts for attaching a lanyard either on the bottom right and bottom left. And I believe this is a very great addition to the case.

Not only that, the cases are going to support a Crossbody Strap accessory as well, allowing you to hang the iPhone like a necklace around your neck. Suddenly, those two lanyard holes make perfect sense.
The cases will be available in the following color options: Black, Brown, Green, Blue, and Purple.
Do keep in mind that the above images shared by the leaker are of replicas that represent what Apple may announce.
Now, it’s unclear whether or not this leak is legitimate. We are less than a month away from the official announcement of the iPhone 17, and on the big day, everything will be clear.
