Apple is rolling out an AI chatbot in the Apple Support app, allowing users to get help about devices and services on the fly.
Apple Support App Gains an AI Chatbot Called ‘Support Assistant,’ Currently in Testing Phases
If you use the Apple Support app, you might see a new Chat icon at the bottom. Once you tap on it, the new Support Assistant will pop right up.
Whether there’s information you need to know regarding your device or service, Apple’s chatbot will help you out. But it won’t answer random questions which are outside the walls of Apple.
Apple says that you should double-check your answers from the chatbot, after all, it is powered by AI, and it can get things wrong. Not surprising at all.
Lastly, the chatbot is currently in its testing phases and it will roll out for everyone soon. At the moment, not everyone will see it in the Apple Support app.
If you want to try your luck and see if the AI chatbot is available for you as well, just download the app on your iPhone and iPad today from the App Store.
