Apple has released macOS 15.6 Sequoia public beta 2, and you can download and install it on your Mac right now.
Apple Releases macOS 15.6 Sequoia Public Beta 2, Download it Today
The second public beta arrives right on time, as the second developer beta of macOS 15.6 Sequoia was released just yesterday. Today’s public beta carries the same build number as the developer beta as well.
Downloading the new public beta is easy if you already have the previous update installed. Just launch System Settings, click on General, click on Software Update, then click on Update Now.
Your Mac will start downloading the new public beta immediately and install it once it’s prepared and verified by Apple. The whole process may take up to half an hour if you have a slow internet connection.
macOS 15.6 Sequoia is a boring update as it does not bring any new features to the Mac at all. But that doesn’t mean it’s not important since these are the kind of updates that improve the stability and performance of your Mac.
If you’re interested in testing out the public beta, you’ll find all details about it here.
