The Apple Polishing Cloth is the Only Cleaning Solution with an Apple-Certified Device Compatibility List
A lot of people don’t know this, but this isn’t the first time Apple has shipped a cleaning cloth. Apple used to bundle one with the first two generations of iPhone.
However, this is the first time the company is selling one, and has been doing so since 2021.
For of a price of just $19, you get a piece of cloth that is specifically designed to clean your Apple gear, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, and even its lineup of displays.
Wait a second, can’t you clean the AirPods with these? Nope, because they’re not ‘compatible’ yet. So, you really want to avoid them for now.
What about the Magic Mouse? Not compatible, yet.
I’m not going to hold back one bit and just say it: the Polishing Cloth is a very, very high quality fabric. Just a single wipe down on the display gets rid of fingerprints instantly. And you get a wonderful sense of satisfaction with it, since it has that Apple logo on it.
But, I’m also going to say this – you can definitely buy a ton of microfiber cleaning cloths for the same price. For under $20, you can actually buy a 50-pack of microfiber cloths straight from Amazon.
But, will 50 of them have the tiny Apple logo on it? Nope.
Do they have an extensive compatibility list certified maintained by Apple? Definitely not.
