A new leak says Apple is bringing thinner bezels to the entire iPhone 17 lineup, and not limiting it to the Pro models.

Apple is Bringing Thinner Bezels to the Entire iPhone 17 Lineup with Increase in Screen Size as Well

With the iPhone 16 lineup, Apple made an important change to the display – thinner bezels on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

With thinner bezels, Apple also made a small change to the display size. The iPhone 16 Pro went from a 6.1-inch display to 6.3, while the Pro Max went from a 6.7-inch display to 6.9.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Apple is set to bring thinner bezels to the entire iPhone 17 lineup, and not keep it limited to certain models like the iPhone 17 Pro or Pro Max.

We recently heard a rumor that the base model iPhone 17 will have a larger 6.3-inch display like the iPhone 16 Pro which means there’s definitely something going on in the display department this year.

The leaker didn’t just stop at thinner bezels. They go on to say that Apple is also bringing some new changes to the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 17 lineup, but on the software side, not hardware.

It’s unclear what these changes are going to be, but I’ll be very surprised if the new lineup of iPhones gets a unique Dynamic Island feature on the software end and everything else does not.

After all, the Dynamic Island has remained unchanged since the iPhone 14 Pro days. If Apple is about to do something big, it might not do it for the currently existing iPhones.

Anyway, exciting things are coming later this year, and I’m sure everyone is now looking forward to a larger display on Apple’s cheapest iPhone.
