A new leak says Apple is going to sell the iPhone 17 Air in a fresh new shade of blue, which has never been seen before.

Apple’s Marketing Around iPhone 17 Air Revolves Around a New Extremely Light Shade of Blue that Almost Looks like White

Apple has done the color blue a lot of times. From Aquamarine on the iPhone 16 to the Sky Blue color for the M4 MacBook Air, Apple has experimented with all shades you can imagine.

But, Apple is not done yet, as the iPhone 17 Air will carry the blue color torch forward.

According to leaked information shared by Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo, Apple is going to ship the iPhone 17 Air in a brand-new shade of blue. It’s a shade of blue so light that it can be confused with white at times, according to the leak.

Honestly, that sounds like all the muted shades of blue Apple has done so far, especially the one on the new MacBook Air.

The leaker says Apple is going to use this color in all of its marketing material for the iPhone 17 Air, so expect it to be the hottest-selling color in the entire lineup as well.

While this sounds great, a new color option on a new iPhone, I am going to stick with either black or white. I just can’t wrap my head around special color options at all.

Sure, new colors look fine the first few days, and then you have a hard time matching wallpapers and cases down the line. With black and white, you will never run into that issue at all.

But that’s just me. Who knows? Apple might be able to woo a lot of people with its brand-new shade of blue. And they definitely will.
