Apple’s iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6 public beta 3 for iPhone and iPad is now available for download.

Earlier this week, Apple released the third developer beta of iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6.
Today, Apple is releasing the same build to public beta testers, which means you should update your device right now if you’ve been running public beta 2 for a while.
In order to do that, all you have to do is go to Settings > General > Software Update. When you see the public beta, download it by tapping on the Update Now button.
Anyone can go ahead and test out the iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6 public beta, and you’ll find the necessary instructions for it at this link. The onboarding process is super easy and you can sign up for the iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 public beta using the same method too.
In terms of features, there’s nothing new in this update, and that’s not a bad thing at all. Sometimes updates like these are exactly what’s needed on iPhone and iPad, so that everything runs smoothly as possible while you enjoy your favorite apps and games.
Though there’s no official word on it so far, Apple will likely release the final version of iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6 next month. But it remains to be seen if that truly is the case.
