Snapchat is now available on the Apple Watch, allowing users to send text messages without having to pull out their iPhone.
Snapchat is Now Available for Download on Apple Watch, Continue Your Conversations without Pulling Out Your iPhone
The developers behind Snapchat have their bases well covered when it comes to device support. The service is available on iPhone, iPad, even the web, and now they’re taking things further with the official Apple Watch app.
The Apple Watch app is as simple as it gets and keeps functionality limited to text conversations only. If someone sends you a message on Snapchat, you can simply tap on the Reply button in the notification and then send your text away, all without pulling out your iPhone.
If you already have Snapchat installed on your iPhone, then you should see the Apple Watch app installed already.
If you don’t see the app on Apple Watch, then launch the Watch app on your iPhone, scroll all the way down, find Snapchat and tap on Install next to it.
Once you do that, press the Digital Crown on your Apple Watch and you’ll see the Snapchat app on the Home Screen.
Though there are a ton of things that can be done to improve the app, and I’m sure the developers have stuff planned for the future that includes the ability to view photos or even videos.
