The M5 iPad Pro is all set for release soon, and its 11-inch and 13-inch OLED displays are going into mass production.

OLED Displays for 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro Models Go into Mass Production, Set for an October Launch

The next iPad Pro is set for launch later this year, and every other report says that too. But the latest one says the OLED displays for the next iPad Pro are going into mass production right now.

Samsung Display and LG Display are going to be responsible for making these displays. And both companies will be making 11-inch and 13-inch panels for iPad Pro this year, same as before.

However, Apple is making a small change to its supply chain.

Rather than have Samsung make displays exclusively for the 11-inch and LG for the 13-inch model, Apple wants to diversify its supply chain and have both manufacturers make panels for both models.

One supplier won’t be tied to just one screen size this time around.

A recent report said the M5 iPad Pro might have slimmer bezels and a larger display. Since that is not getting a mention in this report, I’m guessing Apple is going to keep the design of iPad Pro same as M4 model going forward.

iPad Pro has a very different shelf life compared to other models; therefore, it will see a launch sometime in October. Apple usually announces new tablets after the iPhone, so there’s a chance Apple might stick to that routine this year as well.
