Beta 2 of macOS 15.6 Sequoia is now available for download, and you can install it right away on your Mac.
macOS 15.6 Sequoia Developer Beta 2 Now Available for Download on the Mac with Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
Since the announcement of macOS 26 Tahoe, everyone’s attention is toward Liquid Glass and its shiny new features. While the OS is definitely exciting, it’s still far from release.
Today, Apple is keeping things fresh and busy when it comes to macOS Sequoia and has released the second beta of macOS 15.6. It’s been two weeks since the first beta was released.
If you’re already testing out the developer beta, then you can go right ahead and install developer beta 2 over the air. Here’s what you need to do:
- Launch System Settings.
- Click on General on the left.
- Now click on Software Update on the right.
- Click on Update Now next to the macOS 15.6 Sequoia download.
Again, these steps are applicable only if you have the macOS 15.6 Sequoia beta installed. If you don’t, then you can either download the developer or public beta, the choice is yours.
When it comes to changes, macOS 15.6 Sequoia only focuses on bug fixes, patching security issues, and improving the performance of your Mac. You won’t find any new features here.
